maxIT Culture
Question:
What personality traits does it take to be a successful consultant?
Answer:
Experience and good people skills are truly what make a successful consultant. Our clients value us most for those two reasons.
Question:
Will I have a peer group in same skill area?
  Answer:
Yes. maxIT is organized into practice areas based on software vendor. There is a strong culture of open communications and sharing among practice area team members. New consultants are assigned a "buddy" or mentor to help them get oriented to maxIT. Although maxIT consultants are distributed across the US, there are regular phone checkups and ongoing email communications. Twice a year, practice areas get together in person to share ideas and suggestions to improve maxIT.
Question:
Since most consultants work at various clients across the country, are there any opportunities to connect with other maxIT consultants throughout the year?
Answer
Yes. While our consultants work out of their virtual offices, there are regularly scheduled events throughout the year that allow us to connect live with one another.

When you join maxIT, you will be invited to attend our monthly employee orientation. At orientation, you will have the opportunity to connect with other new consultants, as well as Advisory Team members (maxIT consultants), back office staff, salespeople, and the Leadership Team.

Twice a year, you will meet with your practice area group to learn from others experiences, collaborate, and socialize with individuals with similar software skills. These Practice Group meetings take place at various destinations and are led by current maxIT consultants.

In the fall, maxIT Healthcare comes together as a whole for the annual company meeting. The Company Meeting is a time of learning, collaborating, and mostly a lot of fun to relax, build relationships, and reward you for a job well done.
