Mr. Aikens has twenty-five years healthcare industry experience specializing in business/information technology and sales. Tom leads our efforts in the community hospital segment of the market, specializing in the <150 bed environment and select other community hospital facilities across the nation.

Prior to joining maxIT in 2006, Tom served as COO of a small start-up IT organization, Executive VP of Provider Operations for NDC Health in both the Physician market space and electronic claims arena, and VP/General Manager of multiple HIS solution sets at McKesson. In particular he led the Series 2000 solution set team for a majority of his career at McKesson. Tom's experience also includes, but is not limited to, the U.S. Army in the Intelligence arena.

Tom earned an MBA in Management from Webster University, and a BS Degree in Business (cum laude) from Marywood University.

Tom lives in Orlando, Florida with his family. Among his various community organization activities, he is current President of the Board of Directors for the NAMIGO (National Alliance on Mental Illness Greater Orlando Chapter). He and his team work to curb the stigma associated with mental illness in the area.
