The
Texas Organization of Rural & Community Hospitals
was founded in 1990 and is the leading advocate
and resource for rural and community hospitals in
Texas. TORCH is the only hospital association in
the state that is dedicated solely to the needs
of rural and community hospitals. Big enough to
help... Small enough to care. As the Texas Organization
of Rural & Community Hospitals rounds the corner
to two decades of service to rural hospitals in
Texas, we take aim at challenges both old and new.
To a large degree, the struggle for rural hospitals
has been to survive the rigors of increasing costs
and decreasing reimbursements. The professionals
with TORCH Management Services do not use a "cookie
cutter" approach to achieving goals. Instead,
they enhance the operations and service of healthcare
facilities using a dynamic and diverse system that
generates positive bottom line results. In addition
to specialized management services, TORCH Management
Services provides hospitals an array of outstanding
endorsed vendors that provide equipment and services
specifically of benefit to smaller rural and community
hospitals.
