Beads
of Courage
maxIT is a
proud supported of Beads of Courage,
a resilience-based intervention designed
to support and strengthen the protective
resources in children coping with
serious illness. Through the program
children tell their story using colorful
beads as meaningful symbols of courage
that commemorate milestones they have
achieved along their unique treatment
path. maxIT Healthcare is the sponsor
of the Beads in Space Tour with the
NASA Atlantis Space Shuttle Mission
STS-132 and the Shuttle Endeavor STS

The Beads
of Courage Program is currently implemented
in over 100 children's hospitals throughout
the United States, New Zealand, and
Japan and it is Currently supporting
over 30,000 children.
Relay for Life
The American Cancer Society sponsors
"Relay for Life" events
at more than 5000 locations throughout
the country to raise money and awareness
for cancer research, patient support,
and advocacy programs. The theme of
the events is Celebrate, Remember
and Fight Back, and each Relay for
Life Event includes a Survivor Lap
and a Luminaria Ceremony to remember
family and friends who have been lost
to cancer.
maxIT team members donate money and
time each year at the Relay for Life
event in Westfield, IN. During the
event, maxIT team members take turns
walking around a track for 24 hours.
maxIT matches funds raised by team

Open Doors of Westfield
Washington Township, Inc.
Open Doors
is a faith-based, non-profit organization
that assists people with physical
and spiritual needs in Westfield Washington
Township (IN), where maxIT headquarters
are located. Open Doors provides a
food pantry, clothing closet, cleaning
supplies, back to school supplies,
Thanksgiving meals, Christmas clothes
and toys, and survival skill classes
for women.
Each
Friday, maxIT employees donate a dollar
to wear jeans to work. The money collected
is donated to Open Doors to help meet
the critical needs of those in need.
