Mr. Walker has served as Hospital Consulting President/CEO, Senior VP for HIT Practice, VP for Hyatt Medical Management with over 60 hospitals (both owned and managed), and served in US Marine Corps. Mr. Walker is a member of HIMSS.
His expertise and experience include creating and staffing vendor implementation organizations, information services departments, and IT professional services consulting practices. He also has experience managing IT conversion and consulting projects in large and small facilities including public and private health care organizations. In addition Mr. Walker has developed a hospital IT conversion product line, provided consultation, implementation, and technical advisory services to hospital clients, led hospital IT system conversions including McKesson, IHS, PHS, and MEDITECH, managed the IT system for a new $383 million facility, and provided IT management, turn-around strategies, and technology approaches for hospital operations.

Mary Jo has been in healthcare for 30 years. She started as an Emergency Department Nurse and then transitioned to Flight Nursing. After obtaining her Master’s Degree in Administration she began working in a community hospital with Nursing Informatics. She trained in process redesign and became the CIO. Mary Jo was responsible for the hospital conversion to MEDITECH Client Server in 2004. She continued as CIO until 2011. She is currently a board member for the North Carolina Health Information Communication Alliance and remains active in Meaningful Use and Health Information Exchange efforts.
